LUC-LAC!

a few springtime pick- me -ups for a small gathering we had last evening...wish i had some visuals of the fantastic bites we enjoyed.


got a bit busy with the celebrating but on one of the dishes ...
MS.D's vietnamese LUC-LAC...sirloin tips with oyster sauce, fresh garlic oil + powder, a dash of vinegar + a pinch of sugar... mix together ...leave for about 3 hours & saute.


and of course fresh spring rolls added to our gastronomic pleasure!

patched & primed almost ready to paint

we had picked out the colors but as the wallpaper was down & primer up the colors we choose took on a completely different hue...so back we were back to square one...think the LR we are going with american white which to my eye is a white with a hint of grey...FR & DR which are across from each other...think we are going with smoke embers with high gloss finish in the DR.

i would so love to be the kind of gal that uses lots of color but i tend to tire easily...so neutral it is .

we painted the back of the front door high gloss safety black...am thinking of painting the chandelier in high gloss back as well....comments welcome:)

now on to the bed + bath colors....

the wonderful road of editing a home from beginning , midddle & hopefully a beautiful end.

apologies for my absence but have been otherwise engaged..the fab life of carpool , life etc...hopefully all can relate:).

the cute man & i have purchased a new abode....tres excitement!

i plan on documenting as best i can.
